Spring Fling!

Spring is a time of rebirth and nothing says "It's time for a new beginning!" like adding some new, pretty things to your wardrobe, beauty routine, or home.

Statement earrings and layering bracelets are such huge trends for Spring, and transitioning colors in a subtle way is key. If you're going to move away from the darker shades of winter, adding a hint of white or a soft pastel is the perfect way to adjust without shocking your system and wallet.

The same can be said for a great lipgloss. The rich pigments of the Holidays don't have to be left in the back of a drawer until the Fall, but balance is crucial. Let those bold reds and deep mauves carry on strong, but keep the rest of your face clean and bright (especially the eyes) to achieve a more "berry kissed" look.

Last but certainly not least, scents. One of the very first changes I make when Spring is just around the bend, is the the perfume I wear and the candles I light in my home. When the sun is shining and you've just had enough No. 5 (ok, well technically there is no such thing as getting tired of No. 5, just sayin), Sparkling Spruce and Apple Cinnamon to last what feels like a lifetime, a soft floral or clean linen scent truly lightens the mood. For this switch-up, in my opinion, there is no wrong way to go about it. When you're feeling froggy, hop! Not only will a new, fresher aroma in the air be pleasing to the senses, but if youre anything like me, it can be very inspiring on getting Spring cleaning underway.

So there ya have it! Just a few simple ways to incorporate a new season into your life without a complete overhaul!

xoxo
